The New York Society of Infectious Diseases is an organization of physicians who research and treat infectious diseases. NYSID's logotype combines images which symbolize the touch stones of NYSID's mission: to support medical research and to provide a community for infectious disease specialists in the metropolitan NY area. The logotype defines NYSID, and gives visual form to its self image.
